Service Description
Indigenous Australian Cultural Competency workshop introduces attendees to key concepts of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural safety which create the foundations of culturally competent staff and organisations. The workshop covers core ideas and explores attendees individual experiences of culture, their knowledge of differing cultural world views and discusses ways to apply knowledge of these concepts in their work practices. Sarah Corrigan, owner of Rainbow Crow Cultural Collective, a proud Darkinjung woman, combines her community and cultural knowledge and 12 years experience as a Indigenous facilitator, consultant and more recently registered health practitioner, to deliver interactive, innovative skills-based cultural safety training.
